Meeting 3/9: Bruce Margolin Presentation

At tonight’s meeting, we hosted Criminal Defense Attorney Bruce Margolin, head of Los Angeles NORML and a crusader for marijuana legalization, the platform for which he ran for CA governor in the recall election. Margolin gave a presentation on marijuana laws, as laid out in his Guide to Marijuana Laws. In just over an hour, Bruce lectured on various aspects of marijuana laws, including the “Three Strikes Law,” Prop 215 and SB 420 on medical marijuana, search and seizure, felonies vs. misdemeanors vs. mere fines for possession, possession for sale, and much more, which is all encompassed in his guide.
