Drug Nazi Mark Souder Resigns

Representative Mark Souder (R-Ind)——yeah, the guy who sponsored the infamous "Souder Amendment"to deny student aid to those convicted of drug "crimes"——is resigning from Congress today in connection with an affair with a female staff member.


From an article on Politico released today:

"I sinned against God, my wife and my family by having a mutual relationship with a part-time member of my staff," Souder said in a statement Tuesday. "I am so shamed to have hurt those I love."
