- High Times has reserved a 500 word column for SSDP members; if your article gets published, we get money
- ASUC Elections are today through Thursday; we're supporting Ariel Sweet because she's running on a Good Samaritan platform

- We're going to pull together to make thank-you's for all the ppl. that having been speaking for us lately
- SAFER Day of Action was last Thursday, 4/1; April is national alcohol awareness month, and so SAFER is trying to highlight the fact that marijuana is a safer alternative for recreational use
- Alice and Wonderland & Exploratorium [- Alice and Wonderland] was last Saturday; ppl. had fun
- AB 2254 (formerly AB 390), the bill authorizing taxation and regulation of cannabis in the CA state assembly; the Public Safety Committee will be voting on it soon
- Call Nancy Skinner, our Berkeley Assembly member, is on the Public Safety Committee, so you contact her about it; go here: http://democrats.assembly.ca.gov/members/a14/
- Andrew Gall is running for the House in Maryland against Steny Hoyer on a drug policy reform platform, aand he's looking for staffers; email kat.murti@gmail.com if you're interested
