o SSDP National Conference in San Francisco, March 12-14
 Registration is only $60 now; it’s going up to $100 soon!!!
 Fill out the scholarship, which will mean more rooms for us; we only have 2 now for about 20 people…
o We’re going to have a social event in which we go to see Alice and Wonderland in 3D-Imax, check the Facebook group to add your input on a good night for this

o Students for Liberty (a student group we’re working with on other events) is holding an event tomorrow 3/3 at 8 pm in 220 Wheeler featuring Starchild
o This Fri. 3/5: there is a harm-reduction workshop in Oakland from 9 am- 4pm

o Next Tues. 3/9: we’re having a speaking event featuring Bruce and Allison Margolin
 Bruce is the founder and director of LA NORML
o Tues. 3/16: we’re having an event featuring Jack Cole, a former cop who says that we should legalize all drugs
o Thurs. 4/1: we will be participating in SAFER’s day of action, more will be forthcoming
o Tues. 4/13: we will be visited by PODS, another Berkeley needle exchange groups
o Tues. 4/20: Students for Liberty has reserved the Mario Savio Steps from 12-1
 They’re looking for students to speak for a short intervals, more info will be forthcoming
o We will be having a workshop with the Midnight Special Law Collective, date is forthcoming; most likely will be on a weekend
 They train people on retaining their rights in police encounters
o Invite people to our events through Facebook!!
 This is a great way to expand our member group
